Bachchan Calls Katrina a Modern Day Marvel

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who caught up with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif on the sets of reality show Bigg Boss 3 recently, is all praises for the latter and says she is a "modern day marvel". "Katrina is a modern day marvel. From a non-Hindi speaking young shy and uncertain lady of ‘Boom', she has grown and grown to become one of the most desired actresses in our fraternity," Amitabh posted on his blog. While Amitabh hosts the reality show, Ranbir and Katrina had appeared to promote their film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which released on Friday.

Aamir Khan has taken the internet route to pitch his forthcoming film 3 Idiots - where the film's star cast will video chat with fans on the web. Film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, director Rajkumar Hirani, other technicians and actors, including Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, R. Madhavan and Boman Irani alongside Aamir, will have a visual chat with the masses, after releasing the music of the film on the internet. Amitabh Spends Below Paa's Rs.150 Mn Budget

Amitabh Bachchan, 67, has managed to produce his much-awaited movie Paa within a set budget of Rs.150 million. The movie, about a child suffering from progeria - a rare disease of premature ageing among children, has been produced under Amitabh's production banner AB Corp. Amitabh plays Auro, a progeria-afflicted child in the movie, while his real life son Abhishek essays the role of his father. International make-up artists had been roped in to take care of Amitabh's look for the film.

Actor-producer Aamir Khan, who has not had a formal college education in real life, says he enjoyed playing a college student on screen. 3 Idiots directed By Raju Hirani is all set to be released on December 25. Speaking about the song, Aamir said it is after their admission to an engineering college that the three protagonists prepare for the tough life ahead. Aamir said his character of Rancho, who is a free-spirited young man, is always confused about kissing. 'Kurbaan' Shoot Was No Picnic

"Cold and depressing" is what Saif Ali Khan has to say about the US shoot of Kurbaan, speaking for not just himself but also girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor. Kurbaan was hard work. Saif says, "It gets dark there at 4 p.m. itself. Moreover, it's so cold and at minus 10 degrees it can actually get really depressing. Since we were shooting in sync sound, it was extremely difficult to get the pitch and tone right while delivering our dialogues." The film by Rensil D'Souza also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Om Puri and Kirron Kher and will be released on Nov 20.
