Deepika got boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor's initials tattooed on the nape of her neck. Deepika, who reportedly was the one who got dumped, does not seem to mind the tattoo, at least not for the time being as she has made no attempt to hide or alter it. This is quite understable considering she's the one who's said to have been more in love and committed to the relationship, so she's likely to need time to get out it.

'Kurbaan' vs 'New York'?

Rumours are rife that Kareena Kapoor's role in Kurbaan is similar to Katrina Kaif's in New York, both the actresses are featured in near-identical roles of a wife who discovers her husband to be a closet-terrorist. Kurbaan director Rensil D'Silva doesn't deny the similarities between the two films but doesn't comment on the similarity of the roles. Releasing Friday, Kurbaan also stars Saif Ali Khan as a terrorist and Kareena plays his wife. Vivek Oberoi plays a pivotal role in the movie.

London and Dubai Premieres of 'Paa' Cancelled

The Dubai and London premieres of Amitabh Bachchan's film Paa have been cancelled because of several issues have cropped up and it would not be prudent to go ahead with it under such uncertain pressures and circumstances. However, he says he is looking forward to the Mumbai event that will be attended by Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from promotional events of Paa, Amitabh is also busy preparing for Bachchan Sandhya, an event to mark the 102nd birth anniversary of his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan on Nov 28.

Shilpa And Raj to Move Into the Bachchan Neighbourhood

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra will move into a new place in a high-rise in front of the Bachchans' residence Jalsa in Juhu after their marriage Nov 22. The apartment, owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, is a temporary arrangement as the couple's dream nest isn't ready yet. She is happy that Raj has decided to move his base from London to Mumbai. Soon after the wedding, Shilpa and Raj will leave for the Lord Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati and then to the Oneness University in Chennai to take the blessings of Shilpa's spiritual guru Sri Amma. Shilpa met Raj after her win on the British reality show Big Brother in 2007.

Kareena Kapoor's lovemaking scene with Saif Ali Khan in Kurbaan and the film's bold poster showing them half naked are the talk of the town. Kareena apparently had no qualms about doing the scene. Canadian PM Gives Olympic Torch Model to Akshay Kumar

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper Monday presented a model of the Olympic Torch to Bollywood star Akshay Kumar at a special function here. Accepting the torch, Akshay - who will run with the Olympic Torch in Toronto Dec 17 - said that his heart is close to Canada, which he has visited several times. Akshay, who had donned the official uniform of the Olympic Torch relay, held up the torch model as scores of schoolchildren assembled there clapped and cheered.

Preity Zinta says she's having a great time at Harvard Business School. She is doing a short executive course in negotiating and deal-making at the Harvard Business School in the US. "I am having such a good time here. No one judges me here or asks me stupid questions and there are no pretensions. Finally I breathe," Preity posted on her Twitter page. "My class is full of wonderful people from all over the world and I am learning so much from all of them," she added. 'New York' Kicks Off 33rd Cairo International Film Festival

India is the guest of honour at the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), which opened here with the screening of John Abraham-Katrina Kaif starrer Hindi film New York. The festival was jointly inaugurated by the Egyptian Minister of Culture, H E Farouk Hosni and Indian Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Raghu Menon. Around 25 Indian films will be screened during the 10-day-long festival, which will also organise a retrospective of the films by Indian director Madhur Bhandarkar. More than 30 leading Indian films personalities are expected to grace the festival red carpet.

Katrina is not Married to Indore MLA Ramesh Mendola

In real life her marital status may still be single, but a fake certificate prepared here suggests that Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif is the better half of local BJP MLA Ramesh Mendola. A marriage certificate approved by Indore Municipal Corporation claims that Katrina married the local MLA on December 2, 2008 and got the same registered with the civic body on December 11 the same year. The IMC has taken the issue seriously and will soon lodge a complaint with the police so that the persons who have done it can be booked for the crime.

Rohit Shetty says he is planning to cast his good friend Ajay Devgn, with whom he teamed up in the recent hit All The Best, and his actress wife Kajol together in a film.
